I saw Donald Sutherland (that would be Kiefer’s dad) outside a hotel in Buxton once. I just had to shake him by the hand!

…and I once followed Andy Hamilton up an escalator in Oxford Circus tube station.

My wife’s met Terry Pratchett and Brian Cox and Patrick Moore and all sorts…and I’ve met my wife, so does that count?

I used to work on SMTV live with Ant and Dec operting the splatoon gun. I hope you remember this show, otherwise I will feel very very old. I met lots of famous people (famous as in: have been on tv/successfully mimed along to backing tracks) working there – some more friendly than others.

Almost! Stephen Fry and Alan Davies were at my work (national physical laboratory) filiming some things about science (a show called “how long is a piece of string” for BBC Horizon, you can see it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLIwuWNOWBk) about 6 months before I started working there, so i was really close to meeting them but didn’t, bad luck.. My boss got the meet them though, grr.

I can’t think of anyone…..ooo no, I was in a lift once and Adrian Chiles got in! (I didn’t actually know who he was at the time, but apparently he presented the One Show and does the football!)
