very directly only about 300 to 400, although there are a good few thousand who are interested in it. It takes a long time for what I do to filter down and effect more people but eventually it may effect almost everyone, there no way to tell yet which is one of the exciting aspects, who knows what the end result will be?

Specifically by my job, just the few dozens of scientists and engineers who use the particle accelerator to do their research…

…but given that they couldn’t do their work if the accelerator didn’t work and I help keep it up and running, I think I can claim a little effect on everyone touched by their research. Since the accelerator is used to advance medicine, physics, computing, history, archaeology…we effect rather a huge number of people!
