That’s got to be the Diamond Synchrotron where I still work! Sure, I wasn’t the only person building it, but when I started thee were only 50 of us and over the next few years the company expanded and we went from having a rather muddy field, to one of the most advanced particle accelerators in the world!

      I’m very proud of that!

I’m quite early in my career so i can’t claim many amazing things, but by the end of the year i’ll have designed and built (together with a workmate) a small 250mmx250mmx250mm box that vibrates in a precisely known way (in terms of direction along any particular axis, frequency – how fast is shakes back and forth, and force) which will be used to verify that another piece of kit that tests satellite parts works, so i’m proud of that.
