• Question: Why did you want to be an Engineer, as its not exactly known as a female job.

      I realise you weren’t asking me, but…I don’t think it matters whether it’s a ‘female job’ or not! If you like the subject and the work, who cares if you’re male or female?

      There are definitely fewer women in science and engineering in general, but you’ll find the ones that are here are very good, because they’re very passionate about it. It would be great if there were many more, as it’s a great profession and would benefit immensly from being more diversified.
